NHIMA decided to remove them, but people complained and they didn't forgetting that the cost will be incurred by them.

Those are some of the coverages that are putting NHIMA in debt because they are expensive and the money people pay can't cover the costs.

Another way to save NHIMA is the removal of optic and dental treatment in all insurance coverage.
Optic and dental treatment are very expensive and K100 per month for a year can't even cater for optical treatment or lenses.

The best way is to introduce pharmacy coverage into insurance coverage so that if I can't get medicine from the hospital, I'll be able to get medicine from the pharmacy.
