✊ STATEMENT ON THE ARREST OF ANTI-IMPERIALIST COMRADES IN NAIROBI
Below is a statement from the Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Marxists (CPM-K) of Kenya:
The Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Marxists (CPM-K) of Kenya strongly condemns the arrests, intimidation, and persecution carried out by the Kenyan state against local and international comrades who participated in the anti-French demonstration and counter-summit in Nairobi against the so-called "Africa Forward" Summit.
These arrests expose the true nature of the Ruto regime as a neocolonial and comprador administration, acting in defense of imperialist interests against the democratic rights of the people. The regime has chosen to criminalize anti-imperialist solidarity, while rolling out the red carpet for foreign exploiters and agents of monopoly capital.
Among those arrested are prominent anti-imperialist and revolutionary activists, intellectuals, and organizers from various parts of the world who came to express solidarity with the struggling masses of Africa against imperialism, militarism, and neocolonial domination.
The arrested comrades include:
Dimitrios Patelis
Li and Denby from South Korea
Jyoti Braar
Gacheke Gachihi
Guy Bremont
Sayalele Mankuyo
Julius Kamau
John Kamau
Brian Mwanzia
Derivka Opio
Fredrick Yara
Collins Otieno
Their only crime is to be on the side of the oppressed. Their only crime is to reject imperialist domination. Their only crime is to declare that Africa is not for sale.
The arrest of international delegates also demonstrates the growing panic in imperialist and comprador circles. As Kwame Nkrumah taught us, Africa's independence is meaningless if it is not linked to the complete liberation of the continent from imperialism and neocolonialism.
Therefore, we demand:
1) The immediate and unconditional release of all arrested comrades.
2) The cessation of police harassment, kidnappings, and repression against activists, organizers, and progressive movements.
3) The immediate halt of all imperialist military, political, and economic agreements imposed on Kenya and Africa.
4) Respect for the democratic rights of all participants in anti-imperialist and Pan-African gatherings.
The Communist Party of Marxists (CPM-K) of Kenya reaffirms its unwavering solidarity with all arrested comrades. A strike against one is a strike against all. The struggle against imperialism is international, and no repression can defeat the organized masses of the people.
Forward always in the struggle against imperialism!
Forward always in international solidarity!
Victory belongs to the workers and peasants!

So the Kenyan government held a "public participation" for the Finance Bill 2026 but they forgot to mention the public was hired, ID faked, and Ksh1,500 richer. Democracy has never been more affordable. #FinanceBill2026
Thank you Murugi for uncovering this.
When I was in my early 20s I told my mother that I wanted to commit s*icide and she told me “Heri ung’ang’ane huku mahali unajua shida zinakaa aje, unaeza enda hio side ingine upate hata ni kubaya kiliko huku na huezi rudi.” I laughed and got healed. 😂

10M was budgeted for the Egypt Skate game by the Ministry of Sports, but Kevin Kiarie was not sponsored.
He paid for his ticket to Egypt and was nearly chased away after Kenya failed to pay the affiliation fees of 300 dollars.
