I’ll repost more art with further explanations on my thought process and context

[Murin @Muurriinn]

I was deep into yearning so bad when I made this. Kessi was a big inspiration when making this.
I had previously bought their art; and it had such a melancholic theme with adult Geto alone on a balcony at night.

To where that just stuck on me until I made this on Roblox.

I’m seeing all the projected polls for Texas.

Please don’t split the vote. Vote Talarico for Senate and Hinajosa for Governor.

We need both Abbott and Paxton GONE!!!!

[Murin @Muurriinn]

@seven7155 💔 i think its time to befriend your academic advisor

[Murin @Muurriinn]

@_TK_555555 🥹 naps are key, goodluck bro

[Murin @Muurriinn]

@zahzaam Congrats bro 🥹🤝💐

[alex 👻 @sedghis]

to my non-texas oomfs: please keep me in your prayers tonight. if abbott wins, there is a chance that i will lose all of my rights as a hispanic transgender man. please pray that texas goes blue. i’m scared for my life.

I am no longer okay with people reposting my fics. If you have them downloaded, please enjoy, and you can absolutely share with friends via email/dm. Please don't put it on any public drive folders, websites, social media. You're putting fanwork at risk. I don't consent.

[Murin @Muurriinn]

@crosshairlvr 🫩 i feel so bad for fic writers, because not only they experienced the AI boom like artists, but this second round of mass disrespect from readers is just immense to handle.

[ace @ariscopus]

met someone at a halloween party last night who was upset about ao3 shutting down and when i told her she can just reach out to authors she likes and politely ask for pdfs of their fics her eyes lit up like i am really out here sharing my gospel with the masses lmao

[大麻黑貓 @o_niau]

好，我知道可能很多人不喜歡，但我還是要說說關於「ao3爭議事件」的看法
首先我發現很多人搞混一個概念：同人創作（fanfic）有兩層著作權。

[⌖ @chrollohoelic]

downloading for personal use ≠ reposting it elsewhere. why is this such a hard concept to grasp

[Célia 🐻 chromatic lampmaster hate account @Serya_chan]

"Don't repost my art" and "Don't reupload my fic" are the same thing, I'm confused as to why people are surprised that authors are defensive and protective of their works the same way artists are.

[Juko 𓅨 ANNA DAY 🐞🩷 @jukoist]

"ao3 is an ARCHIVE" yeah, *ao3* is the archive. not google drive, or tik tok, or whatever. you're also not allowed to take copyrighted materials from archives and post them wherever. the archives are doing the archival. downloading is fine. reposting is not. this isn't archival.

[official tayzzyronth @TayzzyronthAO3]

AS A FIC AUTHOR I AM STAUNCHLY AGAINST USING GOOGLE DOCS TO SHARE FICS. They should be printed out on long narrow scrolls of old parchment, loaded into small tubes, and sent via carrier pigeon

[t t a l g i 🇲🇽 @Taeseookievhp]

En realidad si usas el cerebro podrías pensar que justo tiene que ver con que están "traicionando" a la iglesia

[Murin @Muurriinn]

@Taeseookievhp Im glad these debates are happening because this is what we want to push out art literacy, and literacy in general.
But nevertheless, it is quite mind-melting to see such takes…

[Shiao | ʚɞ ˚ ⋆❀˖ ˚ ʚɞ @Shiaolian]

Guys please, if you see my fics floating around in google drives pls do contact me. I don’t feel comfortable nor give consent for my fics to be uploaded in google drives. If you want a fic of mine for rn ASK me directly for a link, I’ll share it. Just don’t upload it like this 🙇‍♀️

[Murin @Muurriinn]

So ignore the “author’s” when I meant authors…

[Murin @Muurriinn]

I feel like the central problem that most author’s are concerned about is the g-drive that has fandoms upon fandoms of work that acts like a pseudo fanfic-website without actual author-account connected to it.

[Murin @Muurriinn]

Concerns and boundaries that should normally be discussed. Especially if you know that author’s are pillars of this community/fandom.

[Murin @Muurriinn]

I do not like how people are dismissing this as just “drama”.

It is a discussion needed for this community if you want authors/artists to continue co-existing. If you don’t want to see conflict, then simply ignore it.

But do not look down upon others for showing their+
