ICE and police terror are not simply products of the Trump administration — they are a result of the expansion of a bipartisan machine of terror being unleashed on working class communities. The billionaire class has weaponized increased militarization of both ICE and the police to maintain its control over our people as we bear witness to the worsening conditions we experience. But the truth is that it is not immigrants, or Black people, or trans youth, who are responsible for society’s ills — the capitalist system and the billionaire class are.

So how do we win justice and end this terror for good? We must end capitalism, before it ends us.

Yesterday, while Madison took the streets for Corey Ruiz, and Houston for Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Austin Police Department murdered a 17 year old Black kid –– over a water bottle.

More than 20 rounds were shot within 20 seconds of police arriving to the quiet playground scene. Austin Police Chief has since disgustingly blamed the victim for his own death –– calling the shooting "suicide by police." But the blame for this child's death lies entirely on the cops who declared themselves judge, jury and executioner and pulled the trigger.

We demand justice for this unidentified young boy, and all victims of racist police terror!

It’s not just ICE — the police are terrorizing us too. With a budget over $1 billion, policing takes up the bulk of Houston’s city budget. Our people are being brutalized daily just for being Black or brown.

Yesterday, Madison, WI police murdered Corey Ruiz in broad daylight. The people of Madison are flooding the streets to demand justice for Corey. We need to do the same for Lorenzo. When armed agents of the state kill one of our own, we can’t sit by and just let it happen. We have to hit the streets to demand justice!

JUSTICE FOR COREY RUIZ! –– Yesterday, Madison police killed Corey Ruiz, shooting him 3 times in the head at point blank range after tasing him, while he was constrained on the ground. Despite MPD’s attempts to distort the truth, the people of Madison immediately took to the streets to demand transparency and justice. Corey Ruiz’s life matters, and he should be alive today!

The police and ICE are the biggest threats to public safety! The cops who carried out this execution in broad daylight should be jailed! End all racist police terror!

Madison Police shot and killed a man on a bike today after knocking him to the ground, tasing and kicking him. A crowd continues to grow in outrage as the people demand transparency and justice for the victim, whose name has not yet been released.

The people have not forgotten Tony Robinson, an unarmed teenager killed by MPD in the same place 11 years ago. As MPDs use the same tactics to cover up and distort the truth, we see through it! We demand the truth and we demand justice!

TEXAS FIGHTS BACK! In a historic day of action this past weekend, Texans across the state stood up and took the streets in a bold condemnation of Greg Abbott's racist, anti-immigrant agenda.

Just this past Friday, the infamous Texas SB4 went into effect, despite facing backlash in the courts and across our communities. SB4 is racist to its core –– allowing state police to effectively act as immigration officers and arrest people suspected of entering the country “illegally”. On top of this, Abbott and Ken Paxton have made it their priority to bully cities taking progressive, immigrant-friendly action into submission.
