Shoes: Using line weight (texture) to emphasize elements and imply volume, students practiced translating a three-dimensional form with linear material. Cardboard: This required close observaton and analysis of the chosen object and students were asked to scale it up to a 5:1.

Last week the School of Art hosted a Watercolor Bookmark demo. Teacher Andie Alban reviewed the basic watercolor techniques, participants were then able to practice these techniques, and then they got to make their own bookmarks. Thanks to everyone who came out to participate.
