Kovalam MLA @MVincentINC speaking at the function to welcome the first mothership- San Fernando - at Vizhinjam International Seaport #Thiruvananthapuram said, "At this juncture, it would be worth remembering the efforts taken by the late former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to make Vizhinjam project a reality. His initiatives resulted in witch-hunting against him. He had to face vigilance and judicial inquiries. I would also like to remind the concerned that it would be better if leaders like Leader of the Opposition @vdsatheesan would have been invited. In the case of development, political differences will have to be set aside."

Finally, I visited the relief camp in the Pope Leo XIII High School in Pulluvilla, which temporarily houses 29 persons who had to leave their submerged homes and seek shelter. The hope is that the sea will recede soon and enable them to return. Kovalam MLA @MVincentINC accompanied me.
