I agree with Vernon. I played in the jazz ensemble in college at two different universities in the late 1979’s and early 1989s. One of them was very much disrespecting of any style other than jazz (with perhaps the exception of classical periods).
I LOVE JAZZ to my ♥️. I’m SORRY-but I can’t GO WITH YOU ON THIS. I have NEVER listened to Otis Redding ONCE- and WISHED he was Joe Williams . Or thought he was INFERIOR to Jon Hendricks, as much as I LOVE him.
That’ll be a CRISP

My wife likes the scents on Aroma360, but my theory is that the reason she does is mostly due to the guy from Shark Tank, who is the spokesman. https://t.co/gX4rJqXLVE
American drummer Tony Williams and guitarist John McLaughlin were two of the jazz greats of the last century that brought jazz up to the fusion goal line in the U. S., while Miles’s trumpet took it over the fusion goal line in 1970 with Bitches Brew for the world.
I concur, Having said that? Miles got ALL the credit for the start of Jazz Rock Fusion that at least partly, and rightfully, IMO belongs to Tony Williams (Emergency).

R. Kelly on any R&B or otherwise top music “list” disqualifies any credibility the list may have had. But to then put Marvin Gaye at the bottom makes it a criminal offense.
R. Kelly… Over Marvin Gaye!!? Who’s LAST?! Al Green, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross, & Otis Redding - Not. On. The. List? At ALL!? Of THE GREATEST Of ALL TIME?!
SORRY.
NOPE.
NOT AT ALL.

I agree, Vernon. Mr. Guy is a legend and should be recognized by being provided with a residency that allows him to play on HIS terms with limited travel that meets with Buddy’s approval. The Rock Hall should create a separate 401c3 to facilitate legend residency in Cleveland.
The fact that at 88, Mr. Buddy Guy 👑still HAS TO SHOW WHAT HE CAN DO? Is a form of OPPRESSION. For ALL of WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR THIS COUNTRY? He shouldn’t STILL HAVE TO GIG. Unless he wants to.
Y’all ain’t hearing what I’m talking about. Not at all.
Dear @Jim_Jordan: Clapper and Brennan should be tried for treason by a military tribunal. Include Thoroughly Unmodern Millie in that. Signed, Americans With Common Sense…
