MidWest BB Exposure

Covering JUCO basketball and helping high school student-athletes find the right fit!

[Cody Schilling @Schilling_Cody]

Too many kids and parents filled with this D1 or bust mentality. I went D2, played in front of 3,000 fans, had success, chances to play professionally overseas and most importantly got my schooling and degree completely paid for. Athletes understand D2/NAIA/D3/JuCo is elite!

Any D1/D2 Coaches looking for a big guard for 2021 that loves to post up and knocks down the 3 at a great clip need to check out @TraeSwartz of Ottumwa! Trae averaged 23.1ppg, 6.3rpg, 55.6 FG%, & 47.7 3FG% this past season. https://t.co/1c0I2m3eVU

Indian Hills CC guard Tomas Woldetensae has committed to Virginia, his coach, Hank Plona, confirms to me. The Italian-born, 6-5 sharpshooter knocked down 47.6 % of his 3s this season.

Should contribute right away at Virginia. https://t.co/fDMTHyjGU8

[Hank Plona @HankPlona_WKU]

This is a heck of a way to cap off an outstanding 2-year career at Indian Hills.... So excited for Tomas Woldetensae to have the opportunity to play at Virginia, and looking forward to watching him have continued success!

SW IL Jets & Hazelwood Central 2021 6’4 Combo Guard Cole Farrell should be on everyone’s watch list this spring and summer. Floor general with talent and athleticism. Very very Coachable @Coachmcmurray @MWBballExposure

[Matthew Bain @MatthewBain_]

Xavier Foster (@XaMan_10) entered his junior year as a national, high-major recruit. Now, he enters the spring/summer with the likes of Duke and North Carolina paying attention. That begs the question ...

Are we watching Iowa's next blue-blood product? https://t.co/u2MFvwRZ7H

[Matthew Bain @MatthewBain_]

Iowa's Fran McCaffery and Sherman Dillard visited five-star PF Xavier Foster (@XaMan_10) at school today, his dad tells me. USC visited yesterday and Iowa State is set to visit tomorrow.

The Hawkeyes also had an in-home visit with Foster last week.

[Matthew Bain @MatthewBain_]

Duke, Kentucky, Kansas & Nebraska are among the 17+ schools expected to watch Xavier Foster (@XaMan_10) this weekend. Who else? And what about Tamin Lipsey (@TaminLipsey)? Iowa's other top prospects?

Well gosh darn it you can read and find out. https://t.co/Vh4REnfUG5
