Global independent organization in Makkah, with members from all Islamic countries & sects, presents the true image of Islam & fosters friendship among people.
I am pleased to share the final report from the panel discussion hosted by @ForeignPolicy in Washington, D.C. last May. I had the honor of delivering the opening remarks and addressing questions during the session.
The event brought together FP's CEO, religious leaders, policy experts, and civil society representatives:

Assistant to the Secretary-General for Corporate Communication, Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Shehri, met with Dr. Khaled Khalifa, UNHCR Representative to the GCC States and Senior Advisor to the High Commissioner, and his accompanying delegation at the Muslim World League headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting reviewed the joint initiatives currently underway as part of the two sides’ ongoing cooperation, while also discussing a number of future initiatives aimed at strengthening their partnership and expanding areas of collaboration.
Promoting awareness of the true concept of inclusive citizenship is one of the Muslim World League’s initiatives in countries with Muslim minority communities.
This initiative implements the principles of the Charter of Makkah through direct coordination with governments, religious leaders—especially Muslim leaders—and community stakeholders across those countries, through effective, measurable, and publicly announced collaborative programs.
These initiatives have received widespread recognition and high appreciation from government, parliamentary, and community platforms, extending to international organizations.
This meaningful impact has reflected the true values of Islam and the awareness of its followers, who have represented their faith in the best possible way. By the grace of Allah, they have become active contributors to their societies, valued by their countries and by Muslims around the world.
These Islamic values—which embody the true essence of our noble faith—remain among the strongest responses to the narratives, rhetoric, and practices of what is known as Islamophobia.
H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa @MhmdAlissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, received earlier today Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Mezel, President of Majmaah University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIFAL Saudi Arabia, along with the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed.
In this clip, I discuss the principles of dialogue in religious matters and how a Muslim upholds noble character, seeking to guide people rather than provoke or antagonize them.
Thank you for watching.
The #MuslimWorldLeague places great importance on the issues of refugees and displaced persons around the world, guided by Islamic values that uphold human dignity, call for assisting those in need, protecting the most vulnerable groups, and promoting their right to a dignified life, security, and stability.
On #WorldRefugeeDay, the Muslim World League continues to fulfill its humanitarian responsibilities, in partnership with international organizations and governments, by supporting refugees and displaced persons in a number of countries through the provision of shelter, education, healthcare, child protection, and family empowerment, as well as implementing integration and capacity-building programs. These efforts help alleviate their suffering, support them in restoring hope and rebuilding their lives, and enable them to become active members of their new communities. All such initiatives are carried out in coordination with, and under the direct supervision of, the respective governments.
