Happy Alton Weagle Day from the Mount Washington Observatory! This morning, dozens of people attempted novel or unique ascents of the auto road - by unicycle, go kart, & recumbent bicycle - in honor of Mr. Weagle, whose passion for climbing the summit in new ways spans decades.

Summit interns Kathryn Hawkes, Athena Hendrick, & Alek Libby got to enjoy playing around in the hurricane force winds at sunset tonight, knowing that with summer just around the corner, winds like this are fewer and farther between, but sunsets like this are just getting started!
