Cops are searching for the driver who got out of his car and punched a school crossing guard in the face after dismissal yesterday afternoon. @DarbyBoroPolice say the driver was angry he had to wait for the guard to help the kids cross the street. The victim is expected to be OK.

The blizzard of 2026 dumped more than a foot of snow in Atlantic City. It’s still cold and windy, but road conditions are improving now that the snow has stopped falling. This was the Atlantic City Expressway at 9:30 AM today and this is what it looked like at 4:30 PM.

A nor’easter dumped more than a foot of snow on Atlantic City. Crews have been working round the clock to keep roads passable. The city’s emergency operations director says the wind has been a big challenge because it pushes the snow right back onto roads that were just plowed.

The American flag is barely hanging on by a thread outside this hotel in Atlantic City. A nor’easter is pummeling the Jersey shore with heavy snow and strong winds. The storm has intensified through the night. All 21 counties in the Garden State are under a state of emergency.

The Atlantic City boardwalk is empty as the entire state of New Jersey is under a blizzard warning. A few pedestrians were out for a walk, and a snow plow just passed through. The city is urging people to move their cars off snow emergency routes like Martin Luther King Blvd.

Snow is coming down hard and fast on the Atlantic City Expressway in Sicklerville. New Jersey Gov. @MikieSherrill said snow removal crews are working around the clock. She said the state has 101,000 tons of salt for the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway alone.

The @PhiladelphiaGov is declaring a snow emergency that goes into effect tomorrow at 4 PM. The city will deploy 1,000 city employees and 800 pieces of equipment, including pickup trucks, front end loaders, skid steers and sanitation trucks, to clear the roads.
