I can't be the only one thinking how Kihyun's solo discography may be forming a continuous travel story. Like... let's take a quick look? 🤔

🚢 VOYAGER -the departure

Voyager was about setting sail into the unknown. The imagery centered on oceans, ships, horizons, and exploration. It felt like the beginning of a journey, leaving familiar shores behind and discovering who you are beyond them.

🌅 YOUTH -the memories made along the way

While YOUTH was less overtly travel-focused, much of its imagery revolved around journey through life, moments shared with people, and nostalgia.

If Voyager was the departure, Youth was the journey itself.

and now:

✈️ BORDERLINE - the space between where you've been and where you're going

Passports, boarding passes, luggage, routes, maps. Everything so far is about movement and being in transit. Not arriving, not staying either but standing at a crossroads, reflecting on the journey so far and deciding what comes next.

So perhaps, Kihyun is showing us that VOYAGER was the beginning, YOUTH was the experience, and BORDERLINE is the moment you realize the journey is changing you? 💙🗺️✈️ #KIHYUN #기현

Thanks for sharing Kihyun's view on leadership! I really recognised myself on what he said about standards. I used to be like that. Now that I am older I learnt how to let go and I am leading a team. I was definitely not leader material at Shownu's age when they debuted

Important updates from Ki’s live:

1. When asked if Changkyun was doing okay, Kihyun said he’s doing well and even bought new running shoes because he wants to start running

2. Someone asked if he could cut his hair after the North American tour,
but he said he already has plans before then, so he’s going to cut it after Peak Festival (which is tomorrow 😱)

3. 🗣 Leader Kihyun vs Maknae Kihyun

4. Kihyun’s opinion on leadership:

“With a personality like mine, it’s better not to be a leader.
Maybe it’s different now, but I used to be really strict with my own standards,
and I think the members would’ve gotten really exhausted because of it.

I’m not someone who has the qualities of a leader.

Now, I’ve realized that just because something doesn’t fit my standards,
it doesn’t mean the other person is wrong.

Other people are other people, but I was also making things hard on myself.
I’ve grown too.

As I started thinking that doing things this way is better for the team as well,
I became more easygoing.

If you live too sensitively, you’re the only one who suffers.

With that in mind, including Shownu-hyung, all the leaders who work as part of a team really go through a lot. They’re amazing people.”
