I read a quote that said
“The faster that you do the hard things you want to avoid, the faster you will receive the good things you actually want”
and that has changed my whole perspective.
Stop caring about what people think. People don't say things, they project who they are. Stop taking it personally. Be thick skinned. Once you set your mind on something, just do it. Think, plan, execute. Keep it simple. Know who you are and act from there. Your inner core.
I saw a post on Reddit that said, “When you walk through a museum, you’re not just looking at art. You’re moving through centuries of people trying to explain love, grief, power, beauty, and belonging.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a museum described so beautifully.
i can’t wait for people to realize that artists who genuinely have a love for the art of music itself aren’t making music for you…like at all. it’s for them & you’re just getting the privilege of hearing where they are creatively.
Stop consuming other people's lives. They are not better than you. They are simply living their own. You live yours. Do things that you find exciting. Follow your interests. Write a book. Start a business. Teach something that feels like play to you. Start a Vlog on the thing you've been obsessed about since you were seven. Don't become a spectator in your own life. You are the main character. You are the hero of your story. Not them, You. Remember that.
