Come join the City of Greenwood as they celebrate a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the Main Street Extension and Stage One of the Greenwood Bypass on June 4 at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Ash St. and South Main St. behind the Greenwood District Courthouse.

Built in 1961, this nearly one-mile truss bridge provides a critical connection between Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, & Lula, MS. This rehabilitation project aims to extend the service life of the bridge & offer improvements that will help to maintain a safe, reliable, & efficient crossing of the MS River. 🌉
