Follow the link to see some benefits of exercising for asthma. It reduces symptoms by far. Let's go on this journey together. If you like, I would post some of my sessions just for motivation
All asthmatics need to consider exercising. In one of my previous tweets I mentioned doing things to prove myself. Wrong reason but it did help. I used to run competitions as a child and play basketball. I was considered sportif. Now I do yoga, push-ups and some in-door exercise.

The inhaler has a technique of use, deep inhale as you puff. Children might find that difficulty, so this is great. In Nigeria, however, this might be near impossible to get. It's crazy...

This is a fact, we all know at least one person who is asthmatic, yet you know nothing about asthma or how you can be useful in the event of an attack. Would you still say you are a friend?
In an average classroom of 30, 3 children will have #Asthma. That's why it's so important for young people to understand more about asthma. This year we're looking for secondary schools to get involved with our innovative project. Interested? More info: https://t.co/aPNXqnwnZo
So the other day, I had an attack at work. I am usually able to manage pretty well. But I was really stressed out and lost control just for a minute. It didn't get out of hand though. So when I got back to work. I left my inhaler on my desk.
A colleague who didn't know I was asthmatic walked in, saw it and said "you shouldn't leave it on display" I ignored him.
Fuck that. There is nothing to hide and nothing to be ashamed of.
If you are uncomfortable seeing my inhaler or knowing I am asthmatic, stay away!

You should see my anger flair when some ignorant person finds out and says to me "sorry oh" DFUCK!
And so i tried to prove myself, both to the society and to myself.
Being asthmatic could be difficult, but i still get to live a pretty normal life. Growing up, people felt sorry for me when they found out i was ASTHMATIC. They would look at me like i was weak and vulnerable, sort of like an invalid. And so i would always hide my inhaler.
I learned how to manage my condition, but not for the right reasons. I learned these things because society pushed me to. People have always been known to fear what they do not understand. The pity is much worse though.
