I was hurt to see sports put on hold. But as this pandemic has continued and we've all had more important things to focus on, I have enjoyed living in a world where sports don't matter as much (this from a former sportswriter).

And then I watched Episodes 7 & 8 of #TheLastDance.

Or maybe it made no sense coming from people who had never personally dealt with that type of situation.

Either way, I had never heeded that advice...
