You and I are looking at a California Harbor Seal, but more that this, a life-saving hero. Fisherman Scott Thompson fell out of his boat with the motor running and leaving him behind. Scott swam as fast as he could but was running out of energy, breath and hope. When just at the right time a Harbor Seal pushed him and nudged him along until Mr. Thompson could reach an oil platform...saving his life.
You and I will probably never have a Harbor Seal as a family member, yet speaking for myself this is another reason why I love and want to help all animals. What gifts they are.

Yesterday a friend was walking his 13 year old Lab on his property and his fourleggedkid jumped into his pond. Labs love to swim. But when he couldn't crawl out--he sunk! My friends heart did too.
