Our minds can carry both harsh and compassionate voices at the same time. I remind myself that emotions move like waves they rise, they peak, and eventually they fade. Be patient with yourself and give yourself grace when the feelings are big. All feelings are temporary!!
Triggers can cause sad cycles but Grounding, self-soothing, & preventive care help you stay present & calm. Small steps like connecting w/others or doing something you enjoy can lift you out of the loop. Every action you take builds resilience. You have tools, & you’re not stuck.

A lot of this is caused by generational trauma going unhealed & unheard of. Now that we have educational resources & know any type of abuse is detrimental, we can move forward & spread awareness! It’s okay to cry, to have feelings, & to express them! Break the cycle by HEALING!❤️
