“Tinubu by the age of 35 was presidential candidate material..
Same thing with Peter Obi. Built a bank.
Who in our generation owns one?

So people are trained to perform not to build.
People want to perform building a company. Perform entrepreneurship.

Major career cheat code: Be easy to work with. Calm when others panic. Positive in the face of pessimists. Reliable. Consistent. It doesn't take talent. It just takes intention. The world bends toward people who make everyone around them better.
#BringBackTheBook
"A few years ago, I caused a stir on Social Media when I said that clearing your schedule to read a good book is better than sex. Not surprisingly, the internet came for me. Someone called me a pensioner, another questioned my fertility.
Alright, I admit - that wasn't the best way to pass across my point. But what I was really trying to say was - My generation grew up on paperbacks. Dog-eared, sun-bleached, passed from hand to hand. We were taught that you were only as smart as the books you read. Before I turned thirteen, I had read every book in my father's library. That simple diet gave me something the algorithm cannot deliver in a thirty-second reel: depth, patience, a nose for nuance and the instinct to ask one more question before forming an opinion."

Early career: Be visible for competence. Deliver excellent work, then make sure key stakeholders know about it (through 1-on-1s, project showcases, or asking your manager to highlight your contributions).
Mid-career: Be visible for leadership. Mentor others, lead initiatives, solve cross-functional problems. Visibility shifts from "I did this" to "I enabled this."
Senior career: Be visible for vision. Shape strategy, influence culture, represent the organization externally.
