@NobbieSlicks Best game for the series in the last decade or so. Blur killed it on cutscenes, it stuck the landing on introducing a new antagonist, art style was a return to form, interesting story.
Gameplay coulda been a little better, but overall deserved more attention from casual players
@VestStreak@paz_marceliano@PopCrave I agree that Ben should stick to the stage, and that movie did not turn out well, but I don't think it's crazy that his dad went "Well I'm going to pick the guy who did it on Broadway for the movie" Also he's been in pitch perfect so it was not his first film.
Still nepotism tho
@WOWGR8ForReal Yeah but I don't think Al-Qaeda or Bin Laden had any regrets for 9/11.
At least Oppenheimer spent the remainder of his political career trying to lobby against nuclear proliferation and the development of the hydrogen bomb, only to be ostracized by a US gov smear campaign
@Hyper_Falcon We should ban protesting like this because the idling of the cars is what is destroying the environment?
Come on that's a drop in the bucket compared to the 8.3 million barrels being imported a day.
@DiscussingFilm Ngl I don't really get the hype around this episode. Not at all because they were gay.
Bill actually interacting with Ellie makes more sense than the whole flashback thing. Also I liked game's discourse between Bill and Frank but wouldn't have minded a less toxic note from Frank
@SteveChillGame I was playing in 2016 just fine so the fact that you had 1-2 extra years of major issues sounds kinda like a you problem.
I'm not gonna pretend it was great at launch, or the console seller it was supposed to be, but I feel like you're being overdramatic
@DaBatman7@Guslivesagain ^^^this. It's the all-yellow that makes me not want it. It'd be much more palatable if it matched the color scheme of his chest sigil
@Hyper_Falcon Hard disagree. TF2 is amazing, but Halo 3 had everything. Theater mode, in game file, forge literally made Halo the ultimate sandbox game, great multiplayer and campaign, competitive & social circles, etc.
Titanfall has amazing gameplay but it wasn't the same lvl of ambition.
@NewRockstars It's a little bland to me. There are definitely some bright spots (Tell me something I don't know was a great scene)
It just feels a little hollow. Like we're supposed to care about these characters just because they've been in past projects, but none of them are likeable.
@Doctor_D0M3 @Tomwolf0 @HaloCodex What are you talking about? There primary, secondary, and detail armor colors. 30 different colors for each.
30 × 30 is 900. 900 × 30 is 27000. Am I wrong here? How are you getting your numbers?
@Tomwolf0 @HaloCodex 1. Map packs used to be about 4 maps per. Halo infinite has released 6 maps total (plus 4 forge created) over 4 seasons (2.5 average)
2. We had 27k color combos in Halo 3 and Reach. Halo infinite definitely doesn't have that many skins
We're getting less than we used to
@AGrowthInvestor@VGC_News Adobe introduced tech that allows creators to blacklist their creations for training-data use. So while they're using AI, they also built a means for opt out.
Until others do the same, what Steam is doing (Forcing developers to certify their training data) is the next best thing
@NomadicAllo That John was the last spartan. Besides being the Halo 1 handbook, pretty much every other piece of halo media has basically stated otherwise.
Yet I still find someone every once and awhile who say "Wait who is Blue Team? Is this a 343 retcon?"
@NobbieSlicks Co-op and that 90's sci-fi style.
I've made some of my best friends in the real world from playing campaign and split screen mp.
I also always loved the color palette (not super realism) and the cheesy style of the military. Johnson, the Marines, their energy keeps things fun
@Jkrum90 @Mr_Rebs_ I agree 343's incompetent leadership has created this problem, but MSFT and Xbox enabled it
They didn't fire leadership after 5, contract policies of 18 months made development tough, and I would bet money Infinite's hasty launch was due to the Series X needing 1st party games
@StephenSeanFord@MartyTheElder I thought they sold the rights to Microsoft, however, Microsoft owes them 20% of royalties relating to non-gaming usage and a quarterly review of said usage.
So Halo 6: Can use at will.
Halo TV: 20% owed.
The latter example is the reason for the lawsuit
@HiddenXperia Because 343 was short sighted and didn't want weapons without a unique role in multiplayer. Same goes for beam rifle, fuel rod, etc.
However, where it's sorely missed: Campaign. It's critical to campaign, and removing it is part of the reason campaign is dull
