Anyway...on a more positive note. I with the help of ALL of those who donated to our cause..may have found a car for my wife!!!...I will update with pictures etc once totally confirmed. We are humbled by your donations and Love and generosity and support. Thank you Thank you. We will pay it forward one day when we are able to 🙏❤️🙏.

However we still need to reach our target as the rest of the funds will pay for a place (deposit and first two months rental , furniture, bed etc) so please help us reach the total!!!

Seven days later...

INELIGIBLE. 💔🇺🇸

Another South African family has trusted me with their story, and this one is incredibly difficult to understand.

After months of processing, their case portal showed:

“APPROVED FOR RELOCATION TO THE USA.”

Then, on 6 August 2026, they received their conditional approval letter.

They were informed that they were awaiting Cultural Orientation.

They also received confirmation that placement had been requested with an Initial Resettlement Provider in the United States and that, once placement was confirmed, the next step would be arranging their travel.

Imagine what that felt like.

Approved for relocation.
Conditional approval received.
Placement requested.
Awaiting Cultural Orientation.

They believed America was finally within reach. 🇺🇸

Then came 13 August 2026.

Just seven days after their conditional approval...

INELIGIBLE.

Today this family is shattered.

Not only because of the outcome, but because they simply don't understand what happened.

And their portal has added to that confusion.

They say Security and Adjudication now show “In Progress” again, while their overall status still indicates that they are being processed for relocation to the USA and will be contacted with next steps.

They aren't demanding admission.

They aren't asking for special treatment.

They simply want to understand:

WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN 6 AUGUST AND 13 AUGUST 2026?

If there is an explanation, please help them understand it.

If something has gone wrong, they hope someone with the authority to look will take another look.

Behind these changing statuses isn't just a case number.

It's a family.

A family who, only days earlier, believed they were preparing for a new life in America.

President Trump, I am a 63-year-old U.S. citizen from Waycross, Georgia, and the mother of two sons who served this country, one in the Army and one in the Navy.

I am imploring you to please have someone look at what is happening to Afrikaner families seeking a legal pathway to America.

Letters of ineligibility are dropping every single day. More people are coming forward, and from the reports reaching us, it appears that more applicants are being denied than approved. We do not yet know why.

We are hearing heartbreaking accounts of persecution, including reports of children being murdered and wives being raped or subjected to attempted rape. We are also hearing reports that applicants have been told during interviews that there is no time to hear their persecution stories.

These families are financially decimated. Many have exhausted their savings, sold what they could, and spent everything they had trying to pursue a legal pathway to America. They tell us they cannot find work, cannot rebuild their businesses, and cannot rebuild their lives.

They are not asking for a handout. They are asking for a chance.

They want to work. They want to contribute. They want to assimilate. They want to become Americans.

President Trump, I am not asking you to accept every report as proven fact. I am asking you to look at the cases. Look at the letters. Look at the interview process. Look at the persecution claims. Look at the circumstances of these families.

If these reports are accurate, something needs to be examined.

Please have somebody look at these cases.

These are human beings. These are families. And for some, the consequences of getting this wrong could be catastrophic.

I am outraged.

I have spoken with this man. I have seen his résumé. I have seen the education, experience, professional accomplishments, leadership, and skills he brings to the table.

And this man was found INELIGIBLE.

If we are finding people like this ineligible, then America is in trouble.

This isn't someone looking for a handout. This is a highly educated, highly skilled professional with decades of experience who has built businesses, led teams, managed international operations, created growth, and contributed wherever he has worked.

And now, because of this situation, he has been financially decimated.

And what have we done to help him?

Nothing.

In fact, we have exacerbated the situation.

We have taken someone who has spent his life building, working, contributing, and providing for himself and put him in a position where the financial consequences are devastating.

Then we stamp a word on a piece of paper:

INELIGIBLE.

As though that word somehow explains the human being behind it.

It doesn't.

I've now seen firsthand who is hiding behind some of these “ineligible” decisions.

And I am telling you:

If THIS is who we are calling ineligible, we have a much bigger problem than an immigration program.

We have a problem with what we're willing to throw away.

There is a difference between asking questions, raising concerns, and deliberately stirring confusion with information that is not true.

We need to remember that words have consequences.

When people repeat something they have not verified, speculate as though it were fact, or pass along information designed to create fear, division, or distrust, they are not helping the cause. They are making the work harder for everyone who is genuinely trying to help.

Please stop.

If you have a question, ask it.
If you have information, verify it.
If you have a concern, bring it forward honestly.
But do not manufacture facts, repeat rumors, or turn assumptions into accusations.
We are dealing with real people whose lives are being affected by what happens here. They deserve truth, integrity, and responsible leadership.

We will not be pulled into arguments, personal attacks, or rumor wars. We will simply continue to verify, document, correct what is false, and move forward.

Truth does not need theatrics. It can stand on its own.

“Therefore, putting away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor.”
Ephesians 4:25

And perhaps most importantly:

“The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint.”
Proverbs 17:27
Let’s be people who build rather than break, clarify rather than confuse, and speak truth rather than spread rumors.

There is already enough noise in the world.

We don't need to add to it. We need to bring truth into it. 🕊️

There is a silver lining in being INELIGIBLE.

I know those words can feel like a door being slammed in your face. You may be angry. Confused. Heartbroken. You may be asking, “God, why did You let this happen?”

But please hear this:

God did NOT abandon you when you were found ineligible.

Not for your application.
Not for your dreams.
Not for the plans you had made.
And certainly not for the person you are becoming through this experience.

We don’t always get to understand WHY something happens while we’re standing in the middle of it. Sometimes the lesson comes later. Sometimes the redirection only makes sense when we look backward. And sometimes God uses the very thing we thought was the end of our story to begin something we never could have imagined.

That is why you have to LOOK FOR THE SILVER LINING.

There IS one.

You may have to search for it.
You may have to cry while you search for it.
You may have to wait for it to reveal itself.

But don’t let disappointment convince you that there is nothing good left to find.

Maybe this experience is teaching you resilience.
Maybe it’s revealing people who will stand beside you.
Maybe it’s opening a door somewhere else.
Maybe it’s giving you a purpose you didn’t know you had.
Maybe the thing you lost is making room for something greater.

DON’T WASTE THE LESSON BECAUSE YOU HATE THE CIRCUMSTANCE.

God can take a situation that looks completely broken and still weave something meaningful through it.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

So today, don’t only ask:

“Why did this happen to me?”

Ask:

“What can I learn from this?”
“What is God showing me?”
“Where is the silver lining?”

Because being declared INELIGIBLE may describe a decision someone else made about your application.

It does NOT define your worth, your future, or your purpose.

Keep looking.

There is a silver lining somewhere in this.

You just have to be willing to find it. 🤍

The bridge represents more than a journey between two countries.

People who need a bridge, and people willing to help build it.

Under this larger organization, there will be different areas of work dedicated to serving, advocating for, connecting, and empowering our people.

The Incredible Ineligibles Coalition is part of that work.
What began as a response to people being left behind is growing into something much larger.
