Mark Carney — the banker, the economist, the great Liberal “saviour” parachuted in to rescue Canada.

One year later, this is what “expert” leadership delivered:

- Canada slipped into a technical recession.
- GDP contracted in Q4 2025 and again in Q1 2026 — two straight quarters of decline.

Carney’s own government acknowledges the “weakness.” He just refuses to call it what it is and instead calls it a “settling-in” period while he “fundamentally transforms” the economy.

This is the man who was supposed to know how economies work??

Then he bought five floor-crossing MPs to turn a minority into a majority. MPs elected by voters who rejected the Liberals. Voters who chose Conservative or NDP representation.

And what does Carney actually think of the people who handed him that power?

They’re only “useful for votes.”

That’s the respect he has for those MPs — and for the Canadians who put them in office in the first place.

Zero regard for democracy.
Zero regard for the process.
Zero regard for the voters.

He doesn’t care about being Prime Minister in the proper sense. He cares about power, and he’ll take it however he can get it.

He told us to judge him by grocery prices.

We are.

While families watch the cost of food stay punishingly high, young Canadians live in their parents’ basements because homes are still unaffordable, and the economy contracts, Carney’s big solution is to use your tax dollars to bail out condo developers sitting on empty, overpriced units they refuse to sell at a loss.

This isn’t compassion.
This isn’t fixing anything.

This is a banker protecting his own — the people who profited from breaking the market — while regular Canadians get the bill.

He doesn’t care about you.
He never did.

Canada First means rejecting this entire mindset.

Canada has been stolen from us and it couldn't be more obvious.

Justin Trudeau resigns...

Mark Carney is put on the leadership ballot despite not ever holding a seat as an elected MP.

Liberal party allows non-citizens to vote but not citizens with other party affiliations.

Liberal party kicks certain Mps off the ballot.

Only 151,000 ballots cast and Mark Carney is now Prime Minister.

A few months later a general election is held and after more shenanigans, Mark Carney wins a minority government.

Fast forward to 2026...

Mark Carney gets the first majority government in Canadian history that was created through floor crossings and background deals.

All the while the government funded mainstream media and the liberal party talk of Canada, talk about protecting democracy & Canadian sovereignty.

And then debate, committees, etc are all shut down as they jam through bills that do nothing to help Canadians and actually create a technocratic authoritarian state.

But go ahead and tell me he wasn't installed and that this is the will of the electorate - in motion.

He was installed, they stole the majority and now they are changing the rule of law in live time.

Tell me again how this does not circumvent democracy, does not put at risk and attack our sovereignty, and is in no way authoritarian at all?

This Canadian girl just said what millions are thinking but are too afraid to say out loud.

“Can somebody please tell me how we’re still calling Canada a free country?”

Then she laid out the receipts:

- We can’t access certain news channels without the government or platforms getting in the way.
- We can’t even pray in peace without someone trying to shut it down.
- Don’t fill out the census? Get fined.
- Someone breaks into your house? You can’t defend yourself properly — you can’t even hurt them without risking jail.
- We can’t own guns to protect our families.
- The government now decides what your kids can see on social media — not you.
- And we don’t even get to decide what goes into our own bodies… or our babies’.

This isn’t freedom.
This is a managed population.

Year after year, the Liberals chipped away at it — one “reasonable” restriction at a time — until regular Canadians started asking the question this woman is asking.

Mark Carney and the people running this country didn’t inherit a free nation.
They inherited one they could control.

And they’ve been very busy.

If this still feels like “Canada” to you, you’re either not paying attention… or you’re part of the problem.
