@BeyondType2 I’ve found that paired testing is the most useful to becoming the expert in my diabetes. Paired testing=before, after and even during something you are curious about that May effect blood sugar (ie. Foods, activity, medication)
@BeyondType1@FreeStyleDiabet Unlike test strips it is a prescription only product. Can’t get over the counter currently. This poses a access problem if your doctor is not familiar or comfortable prescribing.

This RCT set out to show improved outcomes based on phone calls in between DSMES classes. What it did was show that People with type 2 diabetes had a reduction in A1Cs across both the control group and intervention groups! DSMES works!!! #diabetes#FQHC @AADEdiabetes
