The Nigerians who have lived/ visited abroad.

They’ve seen uninterrupted electricity.
They’ve driven on roads that don’t kill people.
They’ve experienced healthcare that treats you before asking if you can afford to live.
They’ve seen governments that actually work for the people.

Then they come back home…

…and tell 230 million people to be grateful for the barest minimum.

It genuinely breaks my heart.

Because once you’ve seen what a working system looks like, how do you return and convince people that suffering is normal?

How do you applaud failure just because it favours you?

The tragedy of this country isn’t only the people who don’t know any better.

It’s the people who do know better…

…and still teach everyone else to expect less.

If you are a Lagos resident using public transportation to work today, just observe your fellow passengers, look at them, ALL of them are tired! Tired from returning from work yesterday at 11pm and waking up by 3:30am today.

Rubbish lifestyle and a useless, smelly city with zero waste management system that looks down on other premium cities like Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Uyo and Port Harcourt.

Saw a tip someone gave some weeks back They said a good way to spot these terrorists pretending to be soldiers is to look at their feet. The lack of boots always gives them away. Be very wary of anyone in full camo, holding a weapon, but has no boots on.
