@malpani India was never a world leader in IT... it was a major center for supplying low cost IT resources to the world. The innovations in IT came from USA, Europe, and Israel.
@TheSanjivKapoor@BLRAirport American firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), led by Design Principal Peter Lefkovits, designed Bangalore Airport. The landscape architecture was handled by the UK based practice Grant Associates, which is why the airport looks so good.
@prakdadlani "We have some of the smartest people." is not true....if it were, India would be far ahead of other countries. None of the Indian Universities, incl. IIT rank in Top 400 global institutions, No innovation has ever come out of India. India is only good at divisive politics
@cbdhage 1. Vietnam's national flower is Lotus...nothing to do with India
2. Navi Mumbai - Designed by Zaha Hadid & Assoc. of London - and they used the National Flower of India.
3. Shivamogga Airport, India - is controversial as it was done for votes matching it to BJP symbol.
@peeleraja IIT brand is not useless, however the education at IIT is one of the worst. IIT is not even in the world's top 400 universities and no discoveries or innovations have ever been commercialized globally by any IIT. China and USA are way ahead.
