I heard a very sad story today, and I haven’t been able to shake it off…
A heavily pregnant woman went to the hospital and was told her BP was high. The doctor mentioned to her clearly that she needed a bedrest.
Her husband never advised her to rest, never told her to take it easy, and never made her feel like her health should come first.
She eventually went back to the hospital with her sister. One hour later, she started having seizures, and she didn’t make it.
So instead of resting, she went home to arrange her kids, took them to her mum, and went home again to cook because, according to her, her husband “doesn’t eat outside.”
