I have to reflect on my mental. After all I did spend most of child to teen years crying. It’s hard to express that as an adult. Even physical pain can’t translate but your hair falls out more than those early year of tears. #35almost36
We're in a race against time to save thousands of dogs before they're sold and slaughtered for meat. Will you be their lifeline? https://t.co/QYvYOjJ5fc
1. Dishonesty / Disloyalty (If you lie, it’s in your nature)
2. Drama (I work well under pressure but I get anxiety when BS is around- not my cup of tea)
3. Repeating myself (I get flustered if I have to repeat myself-that also means you’re not listening to me and I feel disrespected or unwanted)
4.Yelling (I used to cheer, so my voice can go pretty up there but it stresses me out, reasons why my hair falls out)
5. Not communicating with me (I’m not a mind reader)
6. Lazy 360 (Waist of time)
Your body, physically, needs recovery by including resting days (in your training, physical work, or exercise). I include staying off social media and off my phone to support my mental health. The discipline behind living a healthy lifestyle is maintaining a balance. You can train many hours and work many days but self care means you come first. I spend many hours on my feet or on a screen. When I need a few days to shut down, I am resetting my physical, mental, and emotional health.
I speak for all women when I say we are in 2026 and still the dance industry is dominated by men. More jobs are treating to male dancers than female dancers, is that 20% ever going to be equal or above? Men are still taking our jobs.
“Based on data from late 2025 and early 2026, the gender pay gap in the United States has actually widened, rather than narrowed, for two consecutive years, with women on average earning less than men, not more (https://t.co/deXYvk3OlD).”
