Me and my homegirl were talking about our partners and I told her I’m spoiled and she laughed in my face and said “how your n*gga broke” so I said because I randomly get food sent to me so I can eat on my lunch break, I get my body rubbed when I’ve had a long day, I get juices made for me so I can stay healthy, I’m constantly reminded to go to the gym, and I get doctor’s appointments made whenever I vent to my man about an issue, she said “Shanlavell that’s basic not spoiled I get flewed out” so I asked her what her man does when he’s not flying her out and she said nothing because the trips are enough and I told her I’d rather be thought about just because it’s Tuesday with small gestures on a regular basis than get flewed out every now and then, y’all why she called her man right in front of me and asked him why he don’t do small random thoughtful things for her and that man said “because I see you as a good time not a wife” when I tell y’all my mouth hit the floor I was so embarrassed for her 😭
