Guillermo del Toro: “Be very angry about how the world is being fucked, how your craft is being pulled away from you, how people are trying to move you away from the arts and tell you they’re not important. Be angry that things are being controlled by socially barely functional people that have a lot of money. Be angry about something. Be enraged about something” (Video: anakinspadawan / TikTok)

I miss when gaming had meaningful discussions and people could be their authentic self without worrying about what other people think and if you were going to receive hate just for liking games other people don’t like.
Here’s another creator talking about this exact thing. Original Creator: MattEffectGame on Tiktok
A fan project to decompile Dragon Age: Origins has now reached 60% completion after three years of work.
The project is being developed by a six-person team and aims to rebuild the game’s code as closely as possible to the original source, the team estimates it could reach around 90% completion within another year.
The developers have even mentioned possibilities like controller support, co-op campaigns with separate inventories and loot, split-screen, and potentially a mobile version.
The decompilation is currently closed-source, with the team planning a public release once the project is much further along.

I WANT games to look like video games. I want stylized games, stylized characters and fictional worlds with unique art direction. I don't want games to just look like real life. It's boring. It's cool to see tech advance, but we are losing a part of what makes video games unique
6 devs are doing what EA refuses to. They are investing time and effort into Dragon Age Origins to decompile it. Without ai. This ensures the game can be updated, supported and edited. They plan to make it public for free!
