@rogermosey@DAaronovitch Personally, I think emphasising iPlayer over the channel brands in the last 15 years has been one of the most damaging decisions BBC management ever made. BBC Television lost so much hard won identity.
As far as I know @TAM_Ireland (who measure and report TV audience numbers in Ireland) don’t measure/report viewing of the UK channels that are available there. So we won’t know how many people in Ireland decide to watch Eurovision on the BBC.
.@SkyNews editors refuse to issue an on-air apology over Yalda Hakim's erroneous Lebanon death toll claim - or remove the social media posts which are spreading the lie. https://t.co/Q9ok41NuAM
I genuinely think I might I might cry. We are listening to the legend that is science broadcaster James Burke talking through the making of his iconic TV coverage of the Apollo space programme. #DTGSummit

Hi @RTS_media Just a heads up. Here’s nominee Jordan Gray having a friendly chat with Stephen Ireland, a convicted paedophile about getting access to children. h/t @Jonnywsbell
Ofcom wrote today, harassing 4chan again about the fine for engaging in perfectly lawful conduct in the US.
We replied with a hamster.
When Ofcom wants to get serious and have a merits discussion about their powers, they can show up in a US court as a plaintiff.
Jeremy Bowen represents everything wrong with the BBC. He is smug, overly opinionated and blatantly biased, yet he views himself as a paragon of objectivity. No wonder nobody trusts the Beeb anymore, says Limor Simhony Philpott

@ITVSport running adverts during scrum time in the Six Nations is laughable. Imagine thinking that was the moment for ads. A historic competition treated like background noise. Embarrassing. Do better!
Bring back @BBCSport coverage 👏

Last night's adverts in #FRAvIRE 🇫🇷🇮🇪 ITV coverage were a big source of debate. We'd ideally not have them, but my opinion was they weren't too invasive and are a price worth paying for continued free-to-air coverage.
My verdict on @MailSport.

In 2017, I watched the first 🦁 Test in 🇼🇸.
When Liam Williams stepped Kieran Read, the 📺 pictures in the bar went to a long advert break and I totally missed Sean O'Brien's iconic try!
With ITV's two short adverts per game, it's very different.
