From Louisiana to every corner of the U.S., the NAACP is on the frontlines, fighting to protect the right to vote.
21 million Americans — nearly 1 in 10 voters — don’t have easy access to the documents this law, and those like it, would demand.
We should be expanding voting access, not making it harder to vote.

Data centers have become one of the most talked-about issues in our communities, but their environmental footprint is hard to ignore. From water use to energy demands, these facilities impact our air, land, utility bills, and more. 🌍
This #EarthMonth, join Abre' Conner, NAACP's Director of Environmental and Climate Justice, in calling for transparency and discover some actionable steps YOU can take to protect our communities from "dirty data centers." https://t.co/9jveyQvKMj
The federal arrest of journalist Don Lemon, despite a judge previously rejecting charges, is a chilling assault on the First Amendment and press freedom. This administration, and the criminal, racist, rapist, President driving it, are weaponizing law enforcement to silence dissent and punish journalists who hold power accountable. America has devolved into complete authoritarianism when speaking or reporting the truth becomes a crime.
@Damaan4u33 Bishop Swan is not “most likely” right, he’s 💯% correct. This goes all the way back to Emmett Till in 1955 Mississippi. It was wrong then & it’s wrong now. No one should live in fear because of their skin color.
What this administration is doing to dehumanize and subjugate Black people ain’t new—we’ve outlasted Pharaohs, plantations, and presidents. We don’t just endure…we overcome.
We’re BUILT DIFFERENT!!

Imagine being so bothered by a Black man advocating for justice that you spend your day writing hate mail, leaving racist voicemails at a church, and trying to convince me I’m not a “real preacher.”
Let’s be clear: I don’t need the affirmation of white people to know who I am, what I stand for, or what I’ve been called to do. The idea that my legitimacy as a preacher or community leader hinges on white approval is not only arrogant—it’s deeply rooted in a colonial mindset that assumes Black people need to be validated by whiteness to be worthy.
I’ve been called by God and affirmed by my community. That’s more than enough.
The fact that grown white adults are so enraged by my refusal to bow, to be silent, or to water down the truth, that they resort to harassment, doxxing, and racist vitriol—proves exactly why this work is necessary. Your hate doesn’t invalidate me. It confirms the power of my voice.
So while you’re busy obsessing over me, I’ll stay busy fighting for justice, speaking truth to power, and standing firm in my calling.
You don’t get to define me. You never did.
