it’s not a reason to shoot an adult either. that felt important to say cause a lot of y’all think it’s reasonable for the state to murder Black adults.
@libsoftiktok He shouldn’t face vicious attacks because he’s trans - he should be ignored and ostracized because he is a perverted fraud, a selfish prick with a victim pity fetish incorporated into his role play sex fantasy fetish.
i very much agree that people need many other people in their lives to explore what's inside themselves. i just dont really think it's necessary to have sex with most of them
@maxinemoonxx Look I get sometimes as a society we’re moving too close to purity culture but if you’ve never been called a porn category that’s a blessing. I’m black and you’d be surprised how many guys have with absolute straight faces called me or my skin ebony TO MY FACE. Like???
@missgurlvdaworl It’s actually such a funny question because the answer is just “some of us look like that” (and also it’s a cute look even if you don’t have two tone lips naturally I know some people who will make them so)
The characters themselves aren't but jasmine's design and entire world is extremely orientalist and i feel like there is a reason why pochahantas isnt in either of these photos
@no1blackjackfan Also I watched Descendants. All of their parents actually did something wrong. What kind of allegory is that for any marginalized group????
If anything it’s a sins of the father/you can change from the way you were raised story
the color purple won both the pulitzer and the national book award. so i do think perhaps people in general might read it even in public, despite the scandal associated with literacy.
I am fully aware, unfortunately, that there are men who are creepy towards women in lingerie stores. I am also aware that this happens in every type of clothing store that sells women’s apparel. The problem is creepy men, not lingerie.
Yeah so as the little girl who once had a dad that did this same thing: PLEASE STOP MAKING THIS CHOICE!
I’ve talked to other adult women whose dads did this and we all agree. Only time I’ve seen disagreement is online. In person coco though? All agreement
Ngl if i had a daughter that was too young to use a public toilet by herself, id take her to the mens with me n just head straight to the cubicles rather than assuming its okay for me to go in the womens toilet with her
Obvs a family/disabled toilet is the first choice tho
saying Cape Verdean women are fine is a whole lot different than saying you gotta go there for sex tourism before getting married lol maybe that's a thought
this tweet raises a really good point; if kids and teenagers are going to be banned from using social media then there should also be a ban on adults (including their own parents) from posting them online
this whole convo is “idk man, it depends”
bc this girl is a teen, ofc she feels uncomfortable.
AND Victorias secret is for adults
AND pink is the store for teen
but guess what?? Victorias secret and pink are connected.
she is allowed to feel uncomfortable, but also, no+
Yeah as the girl who got taken to the men’s bathroom when she was with her dad; WE’D PREFER YOU JUST LET US GO IN THE GIRLS ROOM.
Men’s bathrooms have urinals. I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s not a good place for little girls who have developed memory capacity.
I know people are split on this, but I’m not.
My husband and my dad would’ve never walked into a women’s restroom. Ever.
When our daughter was little and I wasn’t with them, my husband took her into the men’s room. Did he love it? No. Are men’s bathrooms usually gross? Yes. But public bathrooms are gross in general. Nobody is sitting down comfortably in either one like they’re at home.
I wish every place had a family restroom. That would solve a lot of this. But they don’t, and you still have to make the best decision in the moment.
For me, that decision is not a grown man going into the women’s restroom.
If the concern is cleanliness, then are we saying dads should start bringing little boys into the women’s restroom too? Because little boys are also children. They also deserve clean bathrooms. That argument falls apart pretty fast.
Use the men’s stall. Stand guard. Bring wipes. Bring sanitizer. Put toilet paper down. If you’re worried about stall gaps, keep a towel or blanket in the car.
It may not be ideal, but parenting is full of “not ideal.”
Men do not belong in women’s restrooms.
And I don’t think that should be controversial.
Okay but actually don't though. Because it can spread to non data center areas and can be very hard to get rid of. Find a very aggressive and hard to kill plant native to your area and plant those near the data centers instead.
Of course I'm treating the idea "women shouldn't have the right to vote" with mocking contempt. It's a profoundly stupid idea that does not deserve my serious engagement.
