When stroke hit 19 weeks ago I was left limping dragging my left leg along. Pushing myself to run helped me regain strength in my leg. And I’ll be running a 10k for @NacoaUK in July.

Everyone’s stroke recovery is different. But running, Lego, piano & Shakespeare is helping me.

Big Nacoa Walk 2026

Ullswater Way challenge walk - 21 miles around England’s loveliest lake. 60 people in six teams of ten completed the route in 11 hours, raising £23,500 - a brilliant effort all round!
