@alextomo looking at the photo of the hospital courtyard in the Guardian today it appears that all the cars close to the centre of the blast have their rooves physically collapsed, in one case ripped open. Does that suggest than the centre of the explosion was above them ?

@jason_paladino If it were an airburst bomb or shell, there would not be a significant crater not substantial damage to surrounding buildings. The main thing that is on fire appears to be a tree, flaming debris falling off it, check burnt tree in todays photos
