The more I think about this, the more annoyed I get. Scrum ≠ Agile. Scrum is precisely defined in the Scrum Guide. If you remove or change _anything_ it's not Scrum any more. That's fine with me—didn't much like Scrum to begin with. There are vastly better ways to do things.
