Found people here that I relate to, on politics. Proud mom of 3 US servicemen, 2 Army/1 AirForce. Originally from NYC. Parents/siblings all in FL, magats 👎🏼😢
Rosie O’Donnell on Trump: “I really do blame Mark Burnett and the producers of The Apprentice for selling a lie to the American public, for selling that show as fact when it was fiction, and pretending this mediocre man was somehow a leading businessman in the country. It is the biggest load of crap. I find it very unbelievable that people can’t see him for what he is. Even with 34 felonies, convictions”
Mark Kelly: "He's stuck. He doesn't know what to do. This is a guy who in his last term said he knows more than the admirals and generals. His high school military education certainly did not prepare him to be the commander in chief."
Listen to this tape. This is the corrupt piece of shit who is going to address the American people tonight with claims of voter fraud. Imagine all the phone calls Trump placed that weren't taped. In every other democratic country in the world, Trump would be rotting in prison.
Trump is subpoenaing journalists for exposing his Qatari plane scandal— his Air Fraud One — a private jet he’s spent hundreds of millions of YOUR tax dollars on.
He is the most corrupt president in American history!
BREAKING: A reporter asked Mike Johnson at a press conference today, “Should we bother asking you any questions about Trump reigniting his illegal Iran War without any Constitutionally mandatory Congressional deliberation and authorization... or have you not heard about it yet?"
🚨BREAKING: Right-wing streamer Cam Higby was caught on video walking up to a group of protesters and pepper spraying multiple people, outside the Newark ICE Facility.
Then, as people reacted to being sprayed, an armed man pulled him away, telling him, “It’s not worth it… it’s time to go.”
Last time I checked… walking up to a group of people and spraying them with a chemical irritant is commonly charged as assault or battery.
And then, after spraying the crowd, the video show Higby, and the armed man, running into the ICE facility while agents allowed them inside.
Imagine the outrage if a left-wing activist walked up to a group of conservatives, pepper sprayed them, and then disappeared behind federal gates.
The headlines would never stop.
The law is supposed to apply equally to everyone.
When Trump leaves office:
The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department.
The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center.
The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico.
The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom.
Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired.
The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president.
Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference.
The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies.
The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists.
Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it.
The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters.
U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators.
And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.
Pete Hegseth is coming after what I earned through my twenty-five years of military service, in violation of my rights as an American, as a retired veteran, and as a United States Senator whose job is to hold him—and this or any administration—accountable. His unconstitutional crusade against me sends a chilling message to every retired member of the military: if you speak out and say something that the President or Secretary of Defense doesn’t like, you will be censured, threatened with demotion, or even prosecuted.
Every servicemember knows military rank is earned, not given. It's earned through the risks you take, the sacrifices you and your family make, the leadership you display, and the respect you earn from the superiors who recommend you for promotion. From the moment I drove through the gates of Naval Air Station Pensacola, to when I was shot at over Iraq and Kuwait, to when I landed Space Shuttle Endeavour on its last mission, I gave everything I had to this country and I earned my rank of Captain, United States Navy.
Now, Pete Hegseth wants our longest-serving military veterans to live with the constant threat that they could be deprived of their rank and pay years or even decades after they leave the military just because he or another Secretary of Defense doesn’t like what they’ve said. That’s not the way things work in the United States of America, and I won’t stand for it.
In 1986, at just 22 years old, I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. I have fulfilled that oath every day since, but I never expected that I would have to defend it against a Secretary of Defense or President. But I’ve never shied away from a fight for our country, and I won’t shy away from this one. Because our freedom of speech, the separation of powers, and due process are not just words on a page, they are bedrock principles of our democracy that has lasted 250 years and will last 250 more as long as patriotic Americans are willing to stand up for our rights.
So today, I filed a lawsuit against the Secretary of Defense because there are few things as important as standing up for the rights of the very Americans who fought to defend our freedoms.
They have no social media, I’m thrilled so many in the community will be helping and standing up for them‼️They have had all their signage removed and is renamed to LAKEVILLE INN‼️
My family will NEVER support Hilton properties again‼️ BOYCOTT @Hilton
"[He] intends to use the United States military against American citizens who simply disagree with him, people he calls, quote, 'the enemy from within.' This is someone who is unstable, obsessed with revenge, consumed with grievance, and out for unchecked power."
Oct. 29, 2024.
Good morning and Happy Wednesday to everyone who is NOT surprised that there are receipts of Pete Hegseth slamming trump for illegal orders -- and saying EXACTLY what Senator Kelly said.
The hypocrisy is insane.
