@07LKM Let admission to colleges be based on performance in sports, music, drama, social work, etc. alongwith score in CUET.
Let all schools, colleges have global standard labs and sports facilities.
@07LKM Can be restricted till a certain age like 12 years.
Before a child reaches 12 make her or him so engaged in sports/music/dance/drama/experimenting with science, sothat later they never become zombie.
@07LKM Wherever data-driven decision making process is not ensured, public anger will come.
Babus don't like data, they suppress data. Whether education, road, cleanliness, road... no data means money spent not uniform or needbased.
Kargil War Memories from School Diary
I was just 10 years old when I joined a boarding school, 170 kilometers from home, nestled in a quiet, green valley that was known more for its mention in Vividh Bharti broadcasts than anything else.
Even today, when I think of my school, the earliest images remain unchanged. A towering white gate with "Sainik School Tilaiya" inscribed on it, two small cannons flanking the entrance, a blue defunct fighter plane parked in a corner of the school grounds, and students in red, blue, green, and orange T-shirts running with their odd haircuts. In the center of it all stood a stone slab engraved with the words “Immortal Tilaiyans.”
At that age, martyrdom felt like something out of textbooks, quiz competitions, patriotic movies, and Independence Day songs. I used to read the names of former students who laid down their lives in operations like Blue Star and Pawan, but my reaction was more academic than emotional.
Every morning, the school would fall into formation for physical training, led by Subedars from the Army who were posted to the school for a couple of years. These men were stoic, emotionless, and spoke almost exclusively about fitness and discipline. After their stint at the school, they would be posted back to active duty on the borders.
In Class 7, we were assigned a Subedar who was both strict and, in an odd way, humorous. I was lazy and undisciplined, so I had the misfortune of regularly being on his radar. Despite the punishments, we found moments to laugh with him, especially during sports periods. .
I can’t quite recall when he was transferred, but I remember vividly the day I returned from my summer break in 1999. A friend came up to me quietly and said, “Subedar ji was killed in Kargil… shot in the head.”
The next time I passed that stone marked “Immortal Tilaiyans,” I read the inscription again. This time, with new eyes:
When you go home
Tell them of us and say
For your tomorrow
We gave our today
#NTA #NEETLeakScam #MyTake
@07LKM DP has hardly any control. Post NEP2020, in 2022, neet, jee were being planned to be merged into CUET-UG.
But DP was taken to kota coachingmafia centre by the powerfuls and declared it will not be done. Big snakes in edu min,big control house (now out) and coaching mafias played.
@KiranKS Lower fees of pvt medical colleges within reach of middleclass, offer scholarships. Let only 60% or above scorers in CUET like entrance qualify.
Stop student with 350 odd marks to qualify NEET and get admission to MBBS by paying high fees.
