That’s what Atty. Amando Ligutan of the House prosecution team said when Atty. Carlo Narvasa interrupted him to raise an objection during the second day of the impeachment trial.

“Your honor, may I object? Is this a speech or an offer?” Narvasa said.

President Bongbong Marcos released a video statement after the Philippines moved up to the upper-middle income grouping according to the World Bank.

“For years, Filipinos have worked hard to build this country. Today, the world has taken notice. The Philippines has officially become an upper-middle income country,” he said on Thursday.

This new classification is expected to strengthen the country’s credit profile, boost investor confidence, as well as expand access to financing and higher-quality investments.

“This is worth celebrating. Because economic progress is not meant to stay on paper, it is meant to open doors, put food on the table, and give every Filipino a chance to build a better life,” Marcos added. (Video courtesy of PCO)
