Old friends don't know who we are now and new friends don't know who we used to be.
It's strange, no one really knows our full story anymore.

Oburu started his politics as a councilor in Kisumu in 1974. The year my Mum was born in Kamser, Seka. Kendu Bay

Never seen him fight for anyone or anything!
He was even an assistant minister for Finance, but hey, Luos are marginalized by previous governments
As Senator, not once did he call out wanton graft in Siaya county.
A century in politics and hitherto in diapers yet still wants to control a people he has done absolutely nada for

Heck, Jesus was 12 when he left temple criminals bamboozled with hard questions
Young Kenyans, respect is not synonymous with subservience. Interrogate history and dissect dumbfuckery
It is YOUR sacrosanct right!

Police officer killed after Homa Bay assignment had qualified for promotion
Police Constable Jim Richardson Okundi, who died after a security deployment linked to the Homa Bay violence, had completed requirements for promotion to corporal.
Police say a stone thrown at the vehicle he was driving struck him in the head through the windscreen, causing him to lose consciousness.
The vehicle later crashed, injuring several officers.
Okundi was pronounced dead on arrival at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Pressure mounts on IG Douglas Kanja as churches, activists and opposition demand resignation
Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja is facing mounting pressure over political violence, deaths in police custody, disappearances and concerns about the police service’s ability to maintain order ahead of the 2027 election.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has told Kanja to either take control of the National Police Service or resign.
The Church and Clergy Association of Kenya has also called for him to step aside.
Rights groups have separately raised concern over deaths in police custody and alleged extrajudicial killings.
Mohammed Ali: Nataka kumuambia Kipchumba Murkomen na huyo PS Omollo. Mmezidi kuleta goons, mnataka kuharibu nchi. Leo nakuja kutangaza rasmi na kusema ya kwamba, kama serikali imeshindwa kulinda watu wake, basi ni jukumu la Wakenya kujilinda. Ni wangapi watajilinda? Mtajilinda?
He was on TikTok bragging about how Raymond Omollo is his boss and daring Babu to try again. He claimed they had done bad things to them in Homa Bay and that Natembeya had to run into a maize plantation to hide because they wanted to kill him. What this illiterate goon doesn’t understand is that govt has a way of dealing with people who know too much after they have outlived their usefulness.
He is now unmasked, and his goonism future is hanging by a thread. Fate seems determined to bring about his ruin, clearing the path for the true sovereigns of war to claim their crown. This is a dead man walking & it's Raymond or Gladys Wanga who will connect him to Sayuni's WiFi signal. Chesaa!!
Investigative report reveals that four men were killed in Ol Kalou during the recent by-election.
Sam Thenya, 27 years old bodaboda rider, was crushed to death after a police lorry ran over him.
Isaac Kairu, who was last seen drunk and rambling about the political season, went missing only for his body to be found in Roriondo, Gilgil, 25km away.
James Muigai Mwathi, a 32 year old bodaboda rider, died of severe head injury caused by blunt force trauma, according to postmortem report.
Zacharia was beaten in his own compound by five masked men carrying pistols and rungus. The family says, that when they traced him, they found him severely tortured, where he told them and I quote, " I have been beaten like a dog and I don't think I will make it." He was rushed to a hospital in Nakuru where he died while undergoing treatment. A CT scan report, revealed a broken skull.
Until now, no single arrests have been made and no police led investigations have commenced.
It's not easy to get justice in a country where criminals make the law.
You see how healthcare was politicized in that KICC circus? That alone is reason enough for this government to pack up and go home. Watch Mandago, Pasaria and the rest swear on their lives that SHA is working while people in their own constituencies still walk out of hospitals empty handed because the system cannot even supply basic medication. They defend the indefensible while county governments leave health workers unprotected, many on strike and others jobless, then expect the public to clap for the performance.
They shove this late night comedy down our throats only to hide the messy, broken reality underneath. If the system actually worked there would be no need for these desperate sideshows. Psychologically it is classic gaslighting: keep repeating the lie until people start doubting their own eyes. Philosophically it is the oldest trick of power, creating an illusion of progress so the truth stays buried. I say this as a consumer, a scholar, an entrepreneur and a stakeholder who has seen healthcare both here and abroad. This is not reform. It is pure charade.
Mr. President, Please Seek the Truth on the Ground About SHA
H.E. the President, Kenyans need to tell you the truth about what is happening on the ground with the Social Health Authority (SHA).
SHA was launched with good intentions, and many Kenyans welcomed the transition from NHIF to a system intended to provide accessible healthcare to all. However, there are growing concerns that implementation challenges, administrative failures and possible malpractice in some facilities may be undermining the programme and creating the impression that SHA is not working.
There are reports and concerns from patients that when a patient is referred from a Level 4 facility to a Level 5 or Level 6 hospital because of the seriousness of their condition, they may be asked to pay cash before admission, despite being under SHA. This is especially concerning because ordinary Kenyans were led to believe that they would be able to access covered healthcare without being required to make such payments.
Another major problem occurs when the SHA system is unavailable or experiencing technical or administrative difficulties. Patients can find themselves unable to receive treatment unless they pay cash. A system failure should not become a reason for a sick person to be denied urgent medical care.
There are also concerns that some hospitals may submit claims to SHA while simultaneously asking patients to make additional payments for services they believe should be covered. These allegations need to be independently investigated rather than dismissed.
There are further concerns that individuals who previously benefited from fraudulent or questionable NHIF claims may have interests within the new system, and that some people within SHA or hospital management could be contributing to its problems. These are serious allegations and should not be treated as facts without evidence. However, they are important enough to warrant an independent investigation.
Mr. President, please do not rely only on reports from officials within the system. Commission an independent, transparent assessment of SHA implementation across the country, particularly in public hospitals and among ordinary citizens who depend on public healthcare.
The investigation should establish:
1.Whether hospitals are demanding cash payments for services covered by SHA.
2.Whether hospitals are submitting SHA claims while also charging patients for the same services.
https://t.co/X9NnffcqGu often system failures prevent patients from accessing treatment.
4.Whether public hospitals are receiving SHA reimbursements on time and whether those payments are reaching the intended services.
5.Whether there is fraud, abuse or conflict of interest within the SHA claims and payment system.
6.Why patients referred to higher-level hospitals are sometimes facing difficulties accessing care.
7.Whether the experience of ordinary Kenyans differs significantly from that of civil servants or other groups with easier access to healthcare services.
The President should hear directly from patients, doctors, nurses, hospital administrators and independent healthcare experts not only from officials responsible for implementing SHA.
If SHA is being sabotaged or poorly implemented, those responsible should be identified and held accountable. If the problems are caused by weaknesses in the system, those weaknesses should be corrected.
Kenyans do not want SHA to fail. They want it to work.
Mr. President, please obtain an independent report on what is actually happening in hospitals across the country and correct the mistakes before public confidence in SHA is lost. The success of universal healthcare should not be determined by reports on paper; it should be measured by whether an ordinary Kenyan can walk into a hospital when sick and receive the care they need without being forced to pay cash because of failures within the system.
The only real threat to Ruto’s second term is Edwin Sifuna backed by DCP or Wamunyoro faction ,that’s why you see there are so many efforts aimed at trying to neutralize him and Gachagua while trying to patronize him as not being ready for president aka no track record.
To Edwin Sifuna if you will not go all the way to the ballot just tell us now we know juu there’s no way we’re going to be told sijui you settled for a prime cabinet secretary position or whatever that is.
The time is ripe for a new young leader and more importantly mulembe nation to take this country forward.
Khupa khuchie Kabusieee!!!!!
The near silence in the room when Prof. Hino and Prof Nyong’o spoke of corruption and wastage in government as the biggest impediments to Kenya’s progress confirms the chickens were preaching salvation to the hawks.
Ruto’s greatest weakness is not merely greed. It is the arrogance of believing he can outsmart everyone, outplay every opponent and manipulate every situation indefinitely.
He mistakes political manoeuvring for genius and temporary victories for permanent control. But politics has a way of exposing overconfidence. You can manipulate the room for a while, but you cannot manipulate reality forever.
Lest we forget 👇👇
Kuna mtu alikaa akafikiria anaweza ku-threaten Babu, Orengo, Sifuna, na Caroli Omondi na violence ndio wasiende Homa Bay? 😂😂 Huyo anafaa aende apimwe akili. C'mon these are street guys. They know dirty and clean politics. They were Raila's militant wing. They don't buy fear.
I am just trying to imagine the kind of stories that media houses around the world will write concerning how a mwananchi-funded aspirant won the presidency in Kenya.
The Maa community, who are also my in-laws, have made it clear that the national conversation regarding the change of administration is a collective responsibility driven by Kenyans who believe that the country deserves accountable leadership.
The journey toward the formation of the 6th Administration must be rooted in unity, dialogue, and a shared purpose.
I am honored to have received the endorsement of the young generation within the Maa community — Riika Ilnyangulo for my bid to become the President of Kenya during the Ilnyangula Declaration at Matapato North in Kajiado Central, Kajiado County.
It was also fulfilling to see the participation of the succeeding age sets—Ilmirishi, Ilkidotu, and Ilkitoipi, who have joined their young brothers and sisters in endorsing me and supporting our Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP).
The Maa community holds a special and vital place in our nation's liberation history, and their leadership is crucial in shaping a brighter future for Kenya.
I was accompanied by leaders including DCP SG Designate John Methu, Kajiado Senator Seki Lenku, Kajiado North MP Onesmus Ngogoyo, Olkalou MP Sammy Kamau Waweru, Mumias East Mp, Peter Salasya, Roysambu Mp, Mwafrika Kamande, Kigumo MP Joseph Munyoro, Kajiado County leaders among others.
🚨 BREAKING & CHILLING: Dr. Victoria Mutisos killers were promised a measly KSh 100,000 each… and the money STILL hadn’t been paid when they got caught.
On the morning of July 29, the respected mental health researcher stepped into an Uber in Nairobi, headed to work. Minutes later, a Prado boxed her in on Upper Hill. A gunman on a boda pulled up, opened fire, and put three bullets into her. She never made it.
DCI now says this was no random attack. It was a cold, calculated contract hit over a multi-billion-shilling land battle in Mlolongo.
The people who allegedly ordered it? Her husband’s ex-wife and her son.
The man who allegedly pulled the trigger? A serving police officer.
The gun? Issued from a police armoury.
They planned to sell cars and wait for the land money to raise the full KSh 1.5 million payout soesch can get 500,000 each .
A human life… reduced to a cheap invoice.
This one hits different.
A brilliant woman silenced over property. Rogue cops involved. And the price of murder was cheaper than a used car.
What can't the police really do for money? This is sad .
