It’s not peace Ukraine wants, but freedom. It could have “peace” by surrendering, but it would be the peace of the dead. The language here is beguiling, but limiting. Notice that he does not commit to Ukrainian freedom, or independence, or victory, but just to help it “to be as strong as possible … whilst the fight still continues.” And on Ukrainian Independence Day no less. God save Ukraine from its enemies, but also its “allies.”
University does not make you smarter. It makes you specialized in a particular subject.
The dumbest people I have ever met where people I met in University.
I don’t have the time right now to argue with trolls.

It actually feels great.
@ikwilson As a constitutional lawyer, you should know treaties protect Indigenous rights within Canada’s legal framework. Advocating separation without solid constitutional basis contradicts your role. Where’s the legal proof supporting your separatist agenda? #TreatyRights#CanadaUnited
@ikwilson Alberta’s contribution reflects its strong economy and higher-income tax base. Federal revenue is collected based on ability to pay, not geography. Saying Alberta is unfairly treated ignores how a shared national system works—it’s about capacity, not punishment.
@ikwilson Alta does send taxes to Ottawa, but the “$30B+ extra” claim oversimplifies complex fiscal flows. Fed deficits, inflation, and spending are national challenges—not just Alberta’s burden. Complaining ignores Canada’s system of shared resources and responsibilities across provinces.
@JeffreyRWRath@WBrettWilson 34 years championing First Nations rights, yet when faced with real questions, you mock typos instead of providing facts, legal arguments, or case law to support your separatist agenda. Mockery doesn’t build a case—only substance and legal foundation do. Where’s your case? 🤣
I believe @ABDanielleSmith drafted and pushed Bill 54 in bad faith—lowering signature thresholds and extending the collection time to fit her agenda. She’s not speeding up change; she’s just prolonging the struggle and trying to legitimize an unconstitutional plan.
@bruce_barrett The parks are on Treaty land, and our ceremony respects that. It’s not about excluding anyone—just two parks for specific ceremonial purposes, not ongoing. People often over-exaggerate and make it into a bigger issue than it is. Let’s focus on respect and understanding.
@bruce_barrett Non-Indigenous people aren’t banned from parks. Two BC parks were temporarily closed for Indigenous ceremonies—out of respect, not exclusion. And yes, Indigenous people pay taxes too. Treaty rights deserve recognition beyond reserves. This is about respect.
@AgentBlusky@RiseOfAlberta Settlements for past wrongs are separate from the ongoing responsibilities in treaty agreements. Treaty rights are about sharing land, resources, and prosperity as originally intended—not just financial payouts. That living relationship is key to true justice and partnership.
@AgentBlusky@RiseOfAlberta Treaty Nations have fought against groups like the UCP and Mr. Wrath, not with them. Legal actions on treaty breaches aren’t “lawfare” but a rightful defense of our constitutionally protected rights. Settlements are accountability, not payoffs or collusion. Respect #treatyrights
@joeyfrask@RiseOfAlberta Claiming Indigenous Nations have “no money” for legal action is false. Many Nations are ready—and more importantly, owed. Thanks for highlighting #treatyrights, because now the door’s wide open for our leaders to take governments to court and demand what’s due.
@RiseOfAlberta Ignoring Indigenous consent oversimplifies things. #treatyrights are constitutionally protected under Sec 35 and require more than just consultation—they demand meaningful consent. Alberta’s separation impacts Indigenous sovereignty, so their approval can’t simply be dismissed...
