A student at IIT Bombay dies by suicide.

Outrage against the IIT admin.

IIT clarifies that the student was caught using ChatGPT for answers during an exam, was counselled. He went to hostel and died by suicide.

Student's father suddenly realised that since last many months, his son was subjected to caste based abuses by Prof Doolla, the faculty who caught him cheating, and this caste based harassment was "under the directions of IIT director".

Politically suitable scenario, caste groups jump in. Dalit Politicians jump in, including those in power and speak against the professor.

The eminent and illustrious professor, with an impeccable career, is now subjected to a media trial, receives threats, faces calls to be hanged, and is booked under the SC/ST Atrocities Act.

The IIT director resign/forced to resign.

The Ministry of Education, under which IIT operates, does not utter a single word in support of the Prof Doolla who is being hounded simply for doing his job as per the laid down procedure.

On the contrary, IIT Bombay today apologized for its tweet about the cheating incident, stating that the cause of death remains under investigation.

Next, in all likelihood Professor Doolla will be sacrificed to calm the caste groups.

This country is beyond repair.

did my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH at IIT Bombay and my PhD at IIT Delhi. I've been a professor for 14 years now. In 22 years of watching the IIT/IIIT system closely, I have never once witnessed a teacher discriminate against a student on the basis of caste.

During my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH, most of us had no idea what caste our batchmates belonged to. Many of my close friends were SC/ST. We never discussed it. It never entered any conversation or decision. Not once. Our exposure to the humanities department was limited, though — the term "Brahmanical patriarchy" didn't even exist back then.

As a teacher, I don't ask a student's name before solving their doubt. Often I don't know their name at all — some of my classes have 300+ students. We treat them all the same. So does every colleague I know. So did every professor who taught me.

Social media has now filled vulnerable students' heads with a lot of manufactured grievance about caste discrimination that, in my experience, doesn't exist.

एक लड़का आरक्षण से IIT पहुँचा। कम नंबर न आए, इसलिए चोरी कर रहा था। वह टॉपर बनना चाह रहा था। पर एक मनुवादी शिक्षक ने उसे कॉलेज के कानून बताए, सस्पेंड किया भी नहीं। उसने आत्महत्या कर ली।

क्या एक दलित को फोन ले जाने अनुमति नहीं होनी चाहिए? क्या ऐतिहासिक प्रताड़ना के कारण उसको ओपन मोबाइल परीक्षा देने की अनुमति नहीं होनी चाहिए?

आज एक ब्राइट स्टूडेंट, जो जेट इंजन बना सकता था AI से पूछ कर, हमारे बीच इसलिए नहीं रहा क्योंकि उससे पहले ही चरण में रोक लिया गया। मोदी एक्ट इसीलिए बना ही है।

प्रोफेसर को फाँसी होनी चाहिए।

स्वतंत्र भारद्वाज की जमानत अर्जी पर सुनवाई के दौरान कोर्ट ने पुलिस से पूछा कि क्या आरोपी ने जातिसूचक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया था झड़प के दौरान..

पुलिस का जवाब था- पहले जब कंप्लेंट की गई थी तब शिकायतकर्ता ने जातिसूचक शब्द इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप नहीं लगाया था। बाद में दूसरी बार जब बयान हुआ तो जातिसूचक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल का आरोप लगाया इसलिए स्वतंत्र ���र SC/ST एक्ट लगा दिया गया।

क्या ये संभव है कि शिकायतकर्ता को पूरी घटना याद रही लेकिन जातिसूचक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल भी हुआ था ये याद आने में 70 दिन लग गए?

अभी तक जितने वीडियो आए हैं उनमें से किसी में जातिसूचक शब्दों के इस्तेमाल का ऑडियो सुनाई दिया है क्या?

लेकिन कोई कुछ नहीं कहेगा.. SC/ST एक्ट के गलत इस्तेमाल पर कोई चर्चा नहीं होगी इस देश में। और SC/ST एक्ट लगवाने वाला भले खुद वीडियो में पीटता दिख रहा हो ले���िन उसपर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं होगी। भले वो वीडियो में खुद मान रहा हो कि उसने हालत बुरी कर दी थी लेकिन कोई कार्रवाई नहीं होगी।

गजबे है। और ये गजबे है चलता रहेगा, खत्म ना होनेवाला।

The Maulana is exhorting the Indian Muslims to unite with Muslims around the world and save the Caliphate. He begins by stating that all relationships in the world can break down, father can turn against son, brother against brother, mother can shun her child but the relationship of a Muslim with a Muslim can never be severed.

The Maulana then continues: if even a grain of the soul of Islam is still alive in its followers, then if a thorn enters the foot of a Turk on the field of battle, I swear by Allah that no Muslim of Hindustan is a Muslim until he feels that prick in his own heart. For the Millat of Islam is one body, and Muslims, wherever they are, are its limbs. If a finger of the hand is cut, the rest of the body cannot remain at peace until it has felt the blow. This is not rhetoric. It is the plain meaning of the well-known hadith which Imam Ahmad related: the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said that the likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of one body: when one limb complains, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever. And there is the other hadith, related by Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari: The believer to the believer is like a building; each part supports the other. This is the first and last distinguishing mark of the people of Islam, to which the Qur’an itself has pointed.

Then, to reinforce Muslim unity, Maulana Azad provides his commentary after quoting the Quranic verse 48: 29.

The Messenger of Allah and those with him are severe against the Kafirs, merciful among themselves.

Whatever hardness they have is for falsehood and unbelief; whatever love and tenderness they have is for truth, sincerity, Islam and Tawhid. So be extremely hard against disbelievers but extremely sympathetic and kind among ourselves; take heed, then, and do not pass over this as if you had not heard it.

P.S. This is the second time I am enlightening you on your heroes and their lifelong sociopolitical stances. The first time was when you refused to believe that books were banned, editors sacked, films blocked, and Majrooh jailed, under Nehru's rule.
