‼️‼️ Unacceptable ‼️‼️
❤️🩹❤️🩹 We are deeply concerned, upset and worried about the slow and gradual damages to our #Hyderabad pride, world class (second in world) infrastructure
#HyderabadCyclingTrack
With the constant encroachments from road/motor vehicle infrastructure.
Anything is NOT enough for the car infrastructure. There will be more and more needs for car space and you will always have the vulnerable Cycling track to disturb.
Hope you listen to the concerning voice of #CyclingCommunityOfHyderabad
Also, this was never posted about earlier in any announcement or no updates to the community before the work started. This is unacceptable!!
Finally, pls note the famous quote - A City is a developed city when people move by walking, cycling and public transportation!

@GHMCOnline@CommissionrGHMC please start on working these type of skywalks and not ones like at Mehdipatnam which has become 8th wonder of Hyderabad. Ask public opinion before doing any random skywalk construction.

Observation #4:
Singapore's skywalks serve a very different purpose from the ones we're used to in Mumbai.
In Mumbai, skywalks are often long, enclosed structures that take people from railway or metro stations to destinations hundreds of metres away. They function almost like alternative streets in the sky.
In Singapore, they're much simpler. Most buildings have publicly accessible walk-through plazas or retail spaces at ground level, with short skywalks connecting one building to another. Instead of long corridors, they form links in a much larger pedestrian network.
The experience is completely different. You're constantly moving between buildings, open spaces, plazas and landscaped areas, making the journey feel shorter and far more pleasant.
Another thing that stands out is how well they're maintained. The skywalks are clean, litter-free and free of the grime and spit stains often seen on similar infrastructure here. Strong enforcement and regular maintenance make a noticeable difference.
Almost every skywalk is lined with greenery, providing shade, protection from wind and rain, and making the walk feel far less sterile. The bridges themselves are sleek, lightweight and minimal.
These links connect metro stations to offices, housing complexes, shopping centres and buildings across busy roads, creating a seamless pedestrian network that makes walking effortless.

@CoreenaSuares2 Can someone explain is it mandatory to fill forms? If I don't have any corrections , will my name be excluded from voter roll just because I didn't fill the form?
@saurabhkoratkar Shud be beaten by the same guy in public as punishment. Idiots getting elected as public representative and do everything apart from working for the public.
Hello @GHMCOnline@CMC_Offcl Please repair the road in front of Jain Satguru capital park. My sister skid from her scooter and had small injury due to potholes and mud.

Last month, I had the privilege of visiting Singapore, where I spent a week experiencing its urban environment.
Over the next few days, I'll be sharing some observations on what made it feel exceptionally walkable to me, through photos I clicked during my visit.
Observation 1: 99.9% of the footpaths had sloped kerbs with tactile warning surfaces for visually impaired people. Walking on and off the footpath was so effortless that I rarely experienced the kind of knee pain I usually feel in Mumbai after a day of rigorous walking, even though I walked far more in Singapore than I do on an average day in Mumbai.
