I’m going to out on a limb here and say that it’s because you’re very likely to find people online that are typically shut in and lonely and the few connections they develop are very impactful to themselves, as well as the lack of creating new connections keeps the pain of being cut out being played on repeat in their own mind.
@jothwip@skyyyG2 are we fr saying that just because you engage with an art piece you get to supersede the creators self autonomy to make decisions for THEIR art piece?
expecting that someone puts in more money, effort, and time into a personal passion project just so you can engage with it in a medium you prefer is what seems entitled. Nobody has anything against the world being accessible and equal, but that doesn't get to take place over self autonomy.
@Papaenbikini@Emiturbina1@lysukoo Ok but Toby is under no obligation to provide a translation. It’s his personal project that he decided to share. He doesn’t even need a reason why, it’s his project he can do whatever he wants with it.
@Solyricon I don’t think any human should be completely defined by a single moment in time actually, especially one where they are likely to be distressed and upset
@naranciagaming Ok but people did call it those exact things, and the only reason bhopping was not fixed in quake is because it would fundamentally break the games entire movement system
