RM becoming the FIRST-EVER Global Ambassador of the National Museum of Korea is bigger than people realize.
This isn’t a fashion house or a luxury brand deal that every kpop idol can be involved.
This is Korea’s most important museum, and the third most-visited museum in the world, after the Louvre and the Vatican Museums, choosing Kim Namjoon to represent its history, art, and cultural heritage to the world.
Not because he's the leader of BTS. Because he's Kim Namjoon.
The man who spent years sharing books, art, museums, poetry, and Korean culture with millions of people.
A role like this can't be manufactured. It has to be earned. Today, that passion became history.
We should be incredibly proud to be part of Namjoon's journey from global music icon to cultural ambassador of a nation. 🇰🇷

ARMYs who have seen Namjoon in real life, I have a question for you!
I saw a video from an ARMY who attended a BTS concert. She was talking about the members and mentioned that Namjoon is quite different in real life compared to how he appears in photos and videos. She said that Joon looks smaller and much more baby than he does on screen, and that his face looks different in person as well.
Is this true? Has anyone here seen him in real life and felt the same way?
2026 is the year of horse! It represents action, freedom, speed, and forward momentum.
"Merry Go Round" is about BTS' military service & I guess the horse here represents their freedom from that period & moving forward as ordinary human beings.
RM’s bed here looks like a coffin where he developed insomnia too
It can represent the psychological death of “RM the artist” every night when the lights go out.
THE WAY THIS MV CAN BE CONNECTED WITH BOTH BTS REALITY AND THEIR HYYH UNIVERSE:
hyyh: ends with the decision of all of them, not only seokjin, being stucked in the never ending loop of the "never walk alone" carousel with the result of all of them being young forever
Reality: it represent their military life, they felt like they were a in never ending loop for being stuck inside, there were only happy memories of them together while they were away from eo
bts adding this is VERY important. merry go round emphasizes that while you may feel you are moving forward in life (growing up, achieving success) you are still anchored to the same heavy anxieties. the horse vertical movement mimics life’s temporary highs and lows but the horizontal trajectory never actually leaves the circle. growing up does not mean being free from anxiety and pressure. this is bts telling us that you are NOT alone when it comes to that kind of struggle.
🐨: I always thought about a merry go round. During the military too, and even living this life, I kept imagining a merry go round I couldn’t get off of. To me, this feels like another “Spring Day.”
It’s a sad song, honestly. Probably the only song on the album that’s openly, unmistakably sad. “My life is like a broken roller coaster. But maybe I’m the only one to blame” Yeah… it’s my fault, right?
Mind you, Yoongi said that when he first met Namjoon in 2010, he didn't even know how to tie his shoes and only learned how to in high school. The Kpop industry was afraid of a nugu group led by a boy who JUST graduated from velcro sneakers.
