That’s why it’s important to question viral trends, verify information from reliable sources, and remember that not every account online is a real person.
Can Bots Influence Elections and Public Opinion?
Bots can flood social media with thousands of posts, comments, and shares in a short time. This can make a political candidate, movement, or idea appear far more popular than it really is.
What are Bots?
A bot (short for robot) is an automated online account controlled by software instead of a human. Once programmed, it can post content, comment, like, share, follow accounts, or reply to people, often within seconds and at a massive scale.
Because bots can operate 24/7 and thousands can work together, they can create the illusion that “everyone” is talking about or supporting something when, in reality, much of the activity may be automated.
This is because of bots. These automated accounts push certain ideas, making it seem like everyone is at odds.
By understanding how bots work, we can stay grounded in the truth and see the real world more clearly.
Have you ever noticed how certain topics flood social media, like racism or multiculturalism? So many accounts repeat the same messages!
But when you step outside, especially in real life, you see something different. People are kind, and we coexist in peace.
May Allah bless the soul of our great leader, Imam Ali Khamenei (r.a), who gave his life teaching us that standing with Imam Hussein (as) is not a ritual. It is a reckoning.
Imam Hussein (as) was asked, “will you bow” And Karbala is the answer that never stops echoing.
He did not rise from grief. He rose from principle, justice, dignity, the absolute refusal to surrender truth to power.
The lesson of Imam Al Hussein (as) is timeless. Power does not create legitimacy, and silence does not transform falsehood into truth.
Every age has its Karbala, and every generation is tested by where it stands.
Last Muharram, the voice of Sayyed Hassan was missing. When he spoke, Karbala felt alive. His words did not merely recount history they carried its spirit. Through him the sacrifice of Ashura seemed ever present, as though the sands of Karbala had reached our own time.
In his words one could hear the determination of a people unwilling to surrender, and in his steadfastness one could glimpse the enduring lessons of Karbala.
Then the Imam too departed this world...
Two towering figures, who for decades inspired and guided millions, were gone.
