I think one reason Clancy is getting this extraordinary amount of attention is because there were three children and she methodically killed them one by one. Even if the first was during a psychotic event, you’d think somewhere before three… Idk, but mental health and how to protect kids is getting lost in all of this.

Probably because Precious Bland , after drowning her 15 month old and stabbing her husband and teenage daughter, waved a jury trial. She had a two day bench trial and the judge, a white man, ruled her not guilty by reason of insanity. Not a good storyline for the media.

The defense was a Covid related psychotic break with command hallucinations. “Jesus Christ is coming and COVID is going to kill us all”. She was “baptizing the baby. Really, really not good storyline for the media.

Icing on the cake, trial was in June, at a hearing the following month she got conditional release rather than commitment to a psychiatric hospital. Really, really, really bad storyline.

INCREDIBLE: 56-year-old grandmother Vickie Williams-Tillman jumped onto a violent attacker's back to save a police officer's life.

In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Vickie was running morning errands when she saw a police officer in a heated argument with a suspect on the side of the road. Before the officer could react, the suspect tackled him, grabbed his heavy flashlight, and began violently bashing the officer over the head while trying to pull his service weapon from its holster.

While other cars drove right past, Vickie pulled onto the grass, leaped out of her car, and jumped straight onto the violent attacker's back. She locked her arms around him, pulling his hands off the officer's gun and holding him off until backup sirens began blaring down the street.

Police Chief Carl Dabadie credited Vickie with saving the officer's life on the spot, awarding her the department's highest civilian honor.
