I stopped to talk to her and asked if she would consider volunteering for the 45 minutes in the media center. She agreed and ended up volunteering every afternoon for two years

@ThatEricAlper Not quite the same, but I was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, which caused me to cough incessantly. My husband could always find me when we were walking around Home Depot because I was coughing so loudly! Grateful to report- no more coughing! I had a double lung transplant!
