Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was stabbed in the chest with a letter opener. On call, was a Nurse Anesthesiologist, Goldie Brangman.

The late Goldie Brangman, CRNA, MBA, MEd. was a pioneering voice in Nurse Anesthesiology.
