The Minister called on the organisers to plan visits for MPs to children’s institutions, including remand and rehabilitation centres, so they can experience the realities children face beyond the walls of meeting rooms and hotels.
Day 2 in Hoima! 📍
Today, the conversation shifts to child participation exploring why children should have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their lives, and what it takes to move from simply listening to actually creating space for children to influence change.
Going deeper into the practical side of safeguarding sharing experiences, reflecting on current practices and exploring what it takes to make organisations safer for children.
One conversation at a time, we’re strengthening the systems that protect children.

Yes the Boys at the Annual Children advocacy camp stood up for inclusion alongside girls because real change needs all of us. They say "We are not here to listen. WE ARE HERE TO LEAD TOO"
At camp, every child belongs, every child participates and every child leads. We are creating spaces where inclusion isn’t a statement IT’S OUR REALITY.
