One of the traits I look for in people when I consider hiring them is whether they are immigrants. (I am one).

And FTR GPT pushed hard on me when writing job scorecards all in the name of equality and DEI. Sorry, this is BS.

I value people that moved country or state or city for studies, work or even love. It shows ambition, determination and they had to make choices and adapt to a more-or-less adversarial environment.

I had it sweet when I moved countries: spoke the language and had a good job and still it was hard.

So thank you AI, let me appreciate the things I like when I decide for my life or I am building my company.
